  1. How do I alert the office that I wish to terminate my tenancy at the end of my lease?
    Print the Notice of Intent to Vacate form that is located on our website and complete all fields. All lease holders must sign the form before it can be accepted. You may fax, scan or mail the completed form to our McLean office. Please refer to your lease agreement to determine the notice period required to terminate your tenancy. Keep in mind, that all vacate dates are the last day of the vacate month.
  2. What can I do if I wish to terminate my tenancy prior to the lease expiration date?
    To discuss our premature residential lease termination policy, please contact the office at (703) 821-1750.
  3. Am I permitted to have someone take my place on the lease?
    We do allow roommate changes. There is a $200 lease change fee and a $40 application fee for each person who is applying for the apartment. If the applicant is approved, an addendum will need to be signed by all parties prior to the change in leaseholders.
  4. When can I expect to have my Security Deposit returned to me?
    We (The Landlord) will provide you, a written list of any damages to the premises together with a statement of any costs actually incurred by first class mail to the last known address. The Landlord will return the deposit to you along with any interest that may have accrued within the legal time frame per your jurisdiction after the termination of tenancy.
  5. How can I reach someone after hours in case of an emergency/lock out?
    We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to address emergencies you may have such as No heat, fire, water damage or a utility outage, please contact our emergency maintenance number 571-405-5445. If you are locked out, you must call a locksmith and you are responsible for all charges. We recommend District Lock on Capitol Hill and their number is (202) 547-8236.
  6. How and where do I pay rent?
    Rent is due on the first of the month and can be mailed or dropped off to our office at 1447-G1 Dolley Madison Blvd. Mclean, VA 22101. Please make sure that your property address and unit number are noted on your checks or money orders.
